Dalgona Coffee White Russian
While people are stuck inside practicing social distancing, experimenting with coffee is a great way to pass the time and get your coffee bar fix without leaving your home. Dalgona Coffee has become the new quarantine coffee craze because it requires only 4 ingredients and, while it looks fancy, is very easy to make.
Also known as whipped coffee, Dalgona Coffee is made by mixing instant coffee with sugar and water and then spooning it over milk. Inspired by South Korean dalgona candy, a toffee sponge that resembles the creamy dollop that tops the drink, the combination of cold milk and bittersweet coffee is seriously tasty.
We were excited to try it out with our new crystallized instant coffee, but felt like the recipe was missing something...like booze. So we added a shot of Tito's Vodka and created a Dalgona Coffee White Russian. The perfect stay-at-home cocktail, cause not being able to go meet your friends at a restaurant doesn't mean you should stop having brunch.
